This is interesting. It is not at all like any other one i have ever seen. Interesting twist making it about tennis instead of about fighting, interesting.

Ew. Just saw a episode of PoT on toonami. Horribles!
The very first one I watched I didn't really know because I never watched it before.
But now that I've watched about 50 episodes of it eng-sub, the english-voice-sub is horrible. ><

they almost never do a good job with english voices. ive come to expect the japanese version with subtitles to be better. plus it's uncensored!

Not all English dubs are bad, some examples are Samurai champloo and Fruits basket. Even though I normally like subs I like Full Metal Panic better in english because it was the first version I saw.

You're all forgetting the fatal flaw of Prince of Tennis. It's about....tennis. By the way, as someone who has respect for good film and such, Naruto is terrible. A ninja in an orange jumpsuit eh? And explain why in the 30 some odd episodes I saw, they never really bothered to SNEAK. Bleach is fairly bad, but not TERRIBLE, and I dig the theme song(through the first set of episodes, it might change, i wouldnt know). Samurai Champloo was pretty sweet, never saw the japanese episodes, but the dubbing wasn't too bad. Cowboy Bebop, the dubbing is less annoying than the japanese. Trigun gets a a bit crappy at some points, but for the most part, the acting is ok, and the show rocks. Berserk is a freakin' sweet anime, and as far as violence goes, it's way up there. The only reason people watch anime in japanese is because they don't speak it so they can't TELL the acting is horrible(which it probably is). Keep in mind like, HALF of anime is about overcoming obstacles and giving it your all. Naruto for example: Every time someone kicks the brains out of the kid, he keeps trying. Happens in Bleach. As far as humor, Golden Boy is really the only comical anime I've seen. The first episodes were REALLY REALLY funny, and I actually prefer the dubbing when it comes to comedy anyways. I've yet to see the whole thing (i had the DVD on loan from a buddy of mine and never finished it before he wanted it back).
